Abstract

Se presenta el diagnóstico de estado y tendencia de la actividad turística en el Municipio de General Alvarado, así como también la formulación de los objetivos y la apreciación de los alcances del desarrollo turístico, las cuestiones críticas y las estrategias concebidas. El artículo constituye una síntesis del documento presentado para la consideración de los agentes públicos, los operadores privados del sector turístico y los actores sociales de la comunidad. Alcanzar la comprensión, el compromiso y emprender la acción ayudará a superar la crisis detectada, como una instancia de inflexión en el devenir de Miramar y permitirá acreditar en el tiempo y en las obras, las inquietudes y aspiraciones advertidas en el transcurso de las entrevistas y reuniones realizadas con los interesados e involucrados en la actividad turística de General Alvarado.
