Conflictul Israel-Hamas ca sistem autopoietic: tendințe și oportunități de soluționare

The longstanding conflict between Israel and Hamas, dating back to the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948, is a complex and deeply rooted predicament. This article explores the causes of the Israel-Hamas conflict, focusing on the initial social and economic challenges following Israel's foundation, the lack of basic necessities for Palestinians, the emergence of Hamas, and its actions along with Israel's responses. Additionally, it analyzes conflict dynamics, including power struggles, unfolding conflict stages, strategic cultures of Hamas and Israel, and recent developments, such as the unexpected involvement of Ansarallah (Houthi rebels) in the conflict. This comprehensive analysis provides insights into the complex nature of the Israel-Hamas conflict and the challenges in achieving de-escalation and peace in the region. The research methods employed include document analysis and prospective analysis using autopoietic modelling and analysis of the risks, vulnerabilities, threats, dangers and opportunities (RVAP-O instrument). The results of the research provide a robust framework for developing strategies towards resolution of the ongoing conflict. Moreover, this paper offers a comprehensive vision of the conflict's future, therefore being part of the collective effort of building resilience through security culture in the civil society, while also providing further knowledge-based opportunities to national security experts regarding global conflict developments.
