Abstract

In the immense realm of the human mind, there is a border territory between light and darkness, we will find that consciousness transforms and expands beyond the limits of the everyday. This very little explored territory is inhabited by altered states of consciousness, a phenomenon that has generated all kinds of intrigue for philosophers, scientists and spiritual seekers throughout history and years. From contemplative meditation to psychedelic journeys, these states offer a window into the complexity and depth of conscious experience. In this article, we will explore this fascinating territory, examining the various aspects of altered states of consciousness and reflecting on their meaning in the context of the human mind and modern society.
