Abstract

This paper explores the intersection between reproductive rights and biotechnology in the context of the modern era. Objective: To determine the bioethical dilemmas associated with reproductive rights in biotechnology-driven procedures Methodology: This is a literature review using a PRISMA diagram in which 12 articles were analyzed. Results: Significant benefits were identified in the use of assisted human reproduction techniques (AHR), especially in couples with sterility or infertility problems. In addition, the need to establish a solid ethical and legal framework to protect the rights and dignity of all persons involved in reproductive biotechnological processes was identified. Conclusion: While there are potential benefits to expanded access to assisted reproductive technologies and genetic manipulation, there are also significant ethical and social concerns that require careful and deliberate attention
