Competencias esenciales para implementar STEAM en secundaria: una revisión sistemática de la literatura

Abstract

La metodología STEAM en la educación secundaria surge como respuesta a las demandas educativas del siglo XXI, enfrentando desafíos significativos, especialmente en la preparación adecuada de los docentes. Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar las competencias técnicas y pedagógicas necesarias para una implementación efectiva de STEAM. A través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura, se evaluaron estudios relevantes para determinar las competencias críticas que los educadores deben desarrollar. Los resultados indican una correlación directa entre el éxito en la implementación de STEAM y el dominio de competencias específicas, incluyendo habilidades avanzadas en tecnología, métodos de enseñanza interactivos y la integración creativa de disciplinas. Se sugiere que los programas de formación docente deben enfocarse en estas áreas clave para mejorar la eficacia educativa y aprovechar los beneficios completos de la metodología STEAM.
