RetractBASE: una herramienta clave para identificar publicaciones científicas retractadas

Abstract

Utilizar el concepto “bases de datos”, para referirse a fuentes de información existentes en el contexto de los sistemas de almacenamiento de la información que permiten a los usuarios la organización, gestión y recuperación datos de manera eficiente. En ese escenario, he podido identificar que en el artículo no se contempló RetractBASE (retractbase.csic.es) que una nueva herramienta de acceso abierto a la comunidad científica, de reciente aparición, lanzada por el Instituto de Estudios Sociales Avanzados (IESA) del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). De acuerdo con las investigaciones del IESA, se trata de un buscador especializado en publicaciones retractadas (retracted article), notas de retractación (retraction) y artículos retirados (withdrawn), que actualmente cuenta con más de 120 mil publicaciones científicas aparecidas entre 2000 y 2024.
