Tecnologías emergentes y la gestión del conocimiento, un mapeo bibliométrico

The impact of emerging technologies on knowledge management is significant, improving operational efficiency and facilitating data-driven strategic decisions. To better understand this transformation, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using bibliometrix in R, evaluating key indicators such as annual publication output, co-citation networks and most influential authors, in addition to identifying relevant terms in databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The results reveal the importance of technologies such as artificial intelligence in the automation of knowledge, blockchain to ensure the security and traceability of information, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in the capture and distribution of data in real time. Leading authors and universities, such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University, were also highlighted for their contribution in this area. However, the discussion raised challenges related to structural barriers to the adoption of these technologies and the need for public policies that promote investment in infrastructure and technical training, especially in regions such as Latin America. It concludes on the urgency of adapting these technologies to the local context, promoting intersectoral collaboration and educational development as key elements for digital transformation and improved organizational competitiveness.
