Resignification of the Ontological Attributes of Being a Woman in Venezuela

This article presents the synthesis of the doctoral research focused on understanding the hegemonic discourses and practices on women managers in Venezuela from their epistemological assumptions, to generate a new narrative that promotes equity and justice in the Venezuelan managerial field. The first questions focused on identifying the discursive categories used by women managers, the behaviors, symbols, conceptual distinctions and discursive practices about their presence, impact and contribution, to resignify the management of women in a framework of feminist epistemology. The methodological route was qualitative, built in an emergent way integrating theoretical approaches from advanced management, feminisms and the epistemology of language, to establish the epistemological, ontological and axiological foundation of the approach to the subject. Documentary analysis, in-depth interviews, schematization and triangulation techniques were used. The findings revealed predominant discursive categories that, from a feminist worldview integrating difference and intersectionality, seek the recognition of women's identity, not from the equality with men that legitimizes subordination, but the promotion of authenticity and the transformation of traditional management schemes towards inclusive work spaces free of limiting stereotypes.
