Protection of children: best interest as the guiding axis in the Universal and Inter-American system of Human Rights

The protection of children in the field of human rights focuses on the justification of reinforced protection for Children and Adolescents (NNA) in dangerous contexts, which generates the need to scrutinize the systems that protect them, highlighting the evolution of the block of constitutional regularity as a reference element that states have to guarantee the broadest protection to it, which is why the contribution of this work is listed. The importance of considering children and adolescents as a priority group is highlighted and the fundamental principles that States must apply to guarantee their protection are presented, including the principle of the Best Interest of Children.
