Hábitos de estudios y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de educación superior

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre los hábitos de estudio y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de educación superior. Se utilizó un diseño cuantitativo, descriptivo-correlacional. La muestra no probabilística estuvo conformada por 83 estudiantes de la carrera técnica de computación e informática del I.S.T.P. “Alexander Von Humboldt de Villa Rica”. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Inventario de Hábitos de Estudio CASM-85 y los registros de notas finales del ciclo 2020-I. Los resultados mostraron un coeficiente de correlación de 0.363, considerado como positivo débil, indicando una relación directa entre hábitos de estudio y rendimiento académico. Específicamente, se encontraron correlaciones débiles entre cómo estudian, hacen sus tareas, preparan sus exámenes y escuchan sus clases con su rendimiento académico. Se confirma que los hábitos de estudio influyen en el rendimiento académico, resaltando la necesidad de fomentar buenos hábitos para mejorar el desempeño estudiantil en educación superior.
