Virtud en gobernantes y ciudadanos: Análisis según Tomás de Aquino y Marsilio de Padua

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es examinar cómo el desarrollo de la virtud en el gobernante influye en la formación de ciudadanos virtuosos, basándose en las teorías de Tomás de Aquino y Marsilio de Padua. Se utilizó un método de análisis comparativo de textos filosóficos, revisando "La monarquía" de Tomás de Aquino y "El defensor de la paz" de Marsilio de Padua, enfocados en sus conceptos de virtud y gobernanza. Los resultados revelan que ambos filósofos coinciden en la importancia de la virtud en el gobernante para la formación de una sociedad justa y feliz. Aquino enfatiza la interdependencia entre felicidad y virtud, mientras que Padua destaca la imparcialidad de la ley y la necesidad de un gobernante prudente y virtuoso. En conclusión, el desarrollo de la virtud en los gobernantes es esencial para inspirar virtuosidad en los ciudadanos, lo cual es crucial para una gobernanza justa y la felicidad social.
