Gestión de la diversidad cultural: la fuga de cerebros en un estudio de casos

Abstract

La gestión de la diversidad cultural es crucial para la selección de talento humano en diversas organizaciones, incluidas las educativas y empresariales. Este enfoque busca integrar un personal diverso y eficiente, capaz de alcanzar objetivos comunes. Sin embargo, en Venezuela, la emigración en busca de mejor calidad de vida dificulta esta práctica. Utilizamos un método multimodal, combinando hermenéutica, entrevistas y análisis de contenido. El estudio comienza con una revisión teórica de autores sobre gestión de la diversidad cultural y se ilustra mediante un estudio de casos-instrumental con tres profesionales que emigraron de Venezuela. Las entrevistas se realizaron vía email, debido a la distancia, y se analizaron los resultados e interpretaciones generales. Reconocemos que ningún estudio cualitativo está exento de las valoraciones del autor, lo cual es inevitable en el análisis de fenómenos sociales. Mediante una triangulación, surgió una idea esperanzadora sobre el posible retorno de venezolanos, influido por la pandemia de COVID-19 y las crisis en los países de destino.
