Abstract

In recent years, there has been a heightened emphasis on fostering employee innovation and promoting innovative behaviors within the field of human resource management. In this context, the study investigated the impact of various dimensions of empowering leadership, including autonomy support and development support, on innovative work behaviors. Additionally, it explored the potential moderating role of perceived organizational support in this relationship. The research employed both descriptive and analytical methodologies with an applied focus. The statistical population comprised 723 employees from the Technical and Vocational Training Organization in Tehran, with a sample size of 322 participants. Data analysis was conducted using covariance-based structural equation modelling through the maximum likelihood method, utilizing SPSS and AMOS software. Findings indicated that empowering leadership significantly and positively influences innovative work behaviors, and this relationship is moderated by perceived organizational support.
