Abstract

Water is an indispensable resource crucial for sustaining life even though projections indicate that by 2025, over 3 billion people will inhabit water-stressed regions, with 14 countries transitioning from water stress to water scarcity. This study investigates the influence of financial planning based on financial control and decision-making on water availability for domestic use in the Pangani Basin, Tanzania. The research examines the interconnectedness between financial planning and water availability outcomes through a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative analysis and qualitative insights from key informants.
