Der Skill-Gap - noch eine Lücke zwischen Frauen und Männern? Eine Analyse der Verteilung beruflicher Anforderungen in Zeiten der Digitalisierung

Abstract

Die Ausübung von Berufen erfordert unterschiedliche berufliche Anforderungen von Beschäftigten. Hat dies vor dem Hintergrund der horizontalen Segregation zu einem Skill-Gap auf dem deutschen Arbeitsmarkt geführt und kann Digitalisierung diesen künftig verändern? Die Autoren untersuchen die Skill-Verteilung in Berufen durch eine quantitative Stellenanzeigenanalyse und zeigen auf, welche Kompetenz- und Tätigkeitsbereiche von besonders unterschiedlicher Verteilung Ungleichheit geprägt sind. Die Untersuchung macht deutlich, dass die Digitalisierung alleine nur bedingt dazu in der Lage ist, verkrustete Geschlechterverhältnisse auf dem Arbeitsmarkt zu lösen und zusätzliche, zielgerichtete Maßnahmen ergriffen werden sollten.
