Abstract

English Abstract: In this report benchmarking was defined as a process of continuous learning, comparing and creative improvement using solutions and achievements that the best in the field developed. It should be remembered that benchmarking is one of the basic pillars of learning organizations, as it encourages people to learn and learn from them. It does not mean, however, an uncritical imitation which can be very risky if the organization does not understand the essence of its own individual conditions. It starts with the perception that they are better. It can not be reduced only to comparison or ranking (false benchmarking), and should involve changes in the organization.
