Crisis, resiliencia e innovación en sectores estratégicos: reconfiguraciones en el complejo turístico de Tierra del Fuego

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar las estrategias empresariales que se han implementado en Tierra del Fuego en respuesta a la crisis de la pandemia de COVID-19. Particularmente, se estudian las características de las acciones implementadas en los distintos segmentos del complejo turístico fueguino, considerando las reacciones a las alteraciones en el escenario socioeconómico, a las fluctuaciones del mercado y a las nuevas regulaciones, así como sus implicaciones a nivel local y regional. Se utilizan conceptos articuladores entre los que se destacan las ideas de resiliencia empresarial, regional y sistémica, que aportan nuevas posibilidades de diálogo en torno a la noción de cambio estructural. El artículo concluye señalando tres puntos centrales: existen estrategias claramente diferenciadas dentro de cada segmento de actividad del complejo turístico; en torno a ellas, se configuran ámbitos de transformación territorial de distinta índole, efecto y temporalidad; y en algunos segmentos, se evidencian transformaciones circunscriptas al contexto de crisis, tendientes a generar una reconfiguración sectorial a partir de mayores grados de concentración y expansión horizontal de las firmas de mayor porte.
