Abstract

Ce document présente la matrice de comptabilité sociale (MCS) française, calibrée sur les données de l'année 1990, élaborée pour le modèle d'équilibre général de l'agriculture et de l'agro-alimentaire français (MEGAAF). Ce document explique les principes généraux de construction d'une MCS, puis détaille les caractéristiques de la MCS française en opérant compte par compte. Cette dernière est tout d'abord présentée à un niveau de désagrégation des secteurs et des produits relativement fin (15 secteurs d'activité et 15 produits). Une version réduite de la MCS, ne comportant que trois secteurs d'activité et trois produits (l'agriculture, l'agro-alimentaire, le reste de l'économie), permet ensuite d'illustrer quantitativement l'importance du complexe agricole et agro-alimentaire dans l'économie française.
