Abstract

L'une des principales causes de limite des modèles de croissance se trouvait dans le fait qu'ils ne pouvaient pas rendre endogène le progrès technique. Les travaux de Romer (1986) et de Lucas (1988) ont pour objet d'intégrer le progrès technique dans les modèles de croissance. L'un des problèmes est de savoir si la croissance endogène qui engendre des rendements croissants peut être intégrée dans le cadre de l'équilibre économique au sens néoclassique. Est-ce que l'hypothèse de la concurrence monopolistique permet d'écarter l'incompatibilité des rendements croissants et la rémunération des facteurs selon leur productivité marginale. Ainsi, le but de ce travail est d'une part, d'étudier la cohérence interne des modèles de la croissance endogène, d'autre part, de confronter les exigences des hypothèses qui fondent l'analyse des courants de pensée constituant le cadre de ces modèles.
