Abstract

We conducted an exploratory and longitudinal two years case study in a private clinic, on a psychosocial risks expertise and post-expertise. This research aims to analyze the expertise appropriation, or non-appropriation, by clinic actors, after expert left. Based on actor-network theory and qualitative methodology, we identified three phases: psychosocial risks problematization and expert recommendations; prevention start up and « strategic reversal »; prevention shutdown and « prevented traduction ». Even if expert underlines the role of organizational factors in psychosocial exposure of workers, board promotes a strategic bifurcation of prevention process, minimizing the management responsibility and individualizing psychosocial risks source. This research aims to discuss the question of tools and devices strategic appropriation in health at work management.
