Au quebec et ailleurs aussi, l'education est severement critiquee et remise en question, que ce soit celle des parents ou celle transmise dans les etablissements scolaires et universitaires. d'apres l'auteur on fait fausse route, socialement mais aussi economiquement et "managerialement" en laissant trop de latitude aux enfants et aux etudiants et en n'usant pas d'autorite et d'exidences a leur endroit.
