Alternativas exitosas de la educación rural en Colombia

Abstract

“Este articulo presenta un resumen analítico de un estudio contratado y publicado por Diálogo Regional de Política del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), cuyo principal objetivo era la sistematización de los procesos de implantación y expansión de dos experiencias de post-primaria rural en Colombia. Las experiencias fueron "Escuela Nueva" y SAT (Sistema de Aprendizaje Tutorial). Ambos modelos son analizados contra el trasfondo de problemas de la educación rural que los motivaron o inspiraron. Adicionalmente, los objetivos, componentes y características inherentes a los modelos son analizados en relación con los problemas para cuya solución fueron disenados. Al hacerlo, el artículo describe tanto los aspectos teóricos como su aplicación. Durante la investigación se concluyó que era necesario incluir el modelo de post-primaria con "Escuela Nueva" promovido por el MEN (Ministerio de Educación Nacional) como un modelo adicional. Al final se presentan las principales conclusiones acerca de los modelos, y se senalan los aspectos que todavía no han sido documentados o investigados.”
