Abstract

*** Global value chains have changed the way international trade and the labor market are interrelated. One of the ways to understand this relationship is to measure the added value of employment involved in the country's exports. Here it is found that, this measurement shows, the added value of export employment has decreased, particularly for the agricultural and industrial sectors. Then, policies that reactivate these sectors will positively influence income generation for Colombian workers.
