Impacto macroeconómico y distributivo del impuesto de seguridad democrática

Abstract

En este trabajo se utiliza el modelo MEGATAX para estimar los impactos sobre la econom´ıa colombiana del impuesto de seguridad democr´atica, tanto en el corto como en el largo plazo, se incluyen adem´as un an´alisis de los efectos si el impuesto es permanente y se realizan algunos ejercicios para estimar la distribuci´on de los efectos en bienestar entre los diferentes deciles de ingreso. Los resultados sugieren que si bien se mejora la situaci´on fiscal del gobierno, esto se logra a costa de un menor crecimiento y de una ca´ıda en el bienestar.
