La (re)production des inégalités de genre dans le monde du travail : des discriminations légales à l’autonomisation

Abstract

Cette revue de littérature présente les enjeux autour des inégalités de genre et de l’autonomisation des filles et des femmes dans les pays en développement en termes d’emploi, à travers une étude des publications de l’AFD et ailleurs. Entre discriminations légales, ségrégation professionnelle, division genrée du travail et les « doubles journées », l’accès des femmes au marché du travail et à l’emploi décent dans les pays en développement conduit à la (re)production des inégalités de genre». Pour favoriser une distribution plus égalitaire des rôles dans la société, la déconstruction des stéréotypes de genre et l'adoption d'une approche holistique dans l’analyse et la programmation des actions en faveur de l’égalité de genre sont des pas fondamentaux pour enrayer ce processus.
