Abstract

En los últimos años la actividad espacial ha entrado en una etapa de cambio y avance tecnológico sin precedentes. Esto se ve reflejado en la aparición de un gran número de proyectos innovadores de gran envergadura, pertenecientes tanto a agencias espaciales como a iniciativas privadas, las cuales han aumentado su participación en una industria previamente dominada por los organismos gubernamentales. Dentro de este contexto surge el interrogante respecto a la existencia y posibilidad de inserción de actores argentinos privados en estas nuevas tendencias. Con el objetivo de comenzar a resolver dicho interrogante, el presente trabajo realiza un relevamiento y caracterización general de algunas de las principales nuevas tendencias en la actividad espacial, a la vez que identifica y analiza algunos de los principales proyectos privados argentinos involucrados en dichas tendencias. A partir de este análisis se logra un primer acercamiento a la identificación de las oportunidades y obstáculos existentes para la inserción de actores privados argentinos dentro de esta etapa de cambios en la economía del espacio a nivel global.
