Coyuntura económica y dotación social en la ecuación intergeneracional de Becker Tomes. Una estimación para España 2002-2013

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el efecto de la dotación social en la ecuación de transmisión intergeneracional de capital humano de Becker-Tomes en relación con la coyuntura económica actual 2002-2013 para España. Estimaciones logit multinomial por niveles de educación y de los años de estudios terminados con parametrización Weibull ponen de relieve un perfil contracíclico del logro educativo, que disminuye en la expansión y se recupera en la recesión, como resultado de la intensa dinámica contracíclica de la dotación social y parcialmente compensada por efecto procíclico del efecto intrafamiliar.
