Framework für Nachhaltigkeit aus Perspektive der Assekuranz

Abstract

Ziel dieses Papers ist die Entwicklung eines ganzheitlichen Rahmens für die Nachhaltigkeitsdiskussion sowie die Ableitung spezifischer Beiträge und Massnahmen der Privatassekuranz in diesem Kontext. Wir erweitern dabei die klassischen "ESG"-Dimensionen um die Aspekte Ökonomie und Technologie. Denn eine zentrale Voraussetzung für eine ökologische und soziale Nachhaltigkeit ist die finanzpolitische Nachhaltigkeit sowie die effektive Nutzung neuer Technologien. Aufgrund ihrer Funktion als Risikoträger nehmen die Privatversicherer eine Schlüsselrolle in der Transformation von Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft hin zu mehr Nachhaltigkeit ein. Dies zeigen wir anhand von 50 konkreten Massnahmen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette der Versicherer auf.
