Geopolítica del siglo XXI: el factor asiático

Abstract

Nuevos enfoques conceptuales y metodológicos convierten el libro Geopolítica del siglo XXI: el factor asiático en un aporte académico a la comprensión del curso del sistema internacional, en sus fases recientes y en los escenarios de más probable ocurrencia a lo largo del presente siglo. El autor considera que los equilibrios en el poder regional inciden en la estructura del poder global, pero solo en la medida que sobre ellos reposa la competencia estratégica de la esfera superior, que los determina. La obra fue elaborada con base en la observación y análisis sistemáticos del cambio en las relaciones políticas y de poder en Asia, y su repercusión en la dinámica geopolítica mundial contemporánea.
