Las tecnologías de información como base de la competitividad en las organizaciones

Abstract

Las tecnologías de información, en la actualidad, representan para las empresas, en general, una necesidad de uso, ya que su integración incide en la optimizáción de los procesos, registro de intormación y una mejor coordinación con empresas externas que colaboran de manera constante con sus clientes, en particular, en el manejo de productos y procesos logísticos dela cadena de suministro. La presente obra contiene trabajo de investigación realizados por docentes mexicanos y colombianos comprometidos con la academia y con el sector empresarial de Colombia. Los resultados tienen.el propósito de mostrar a los empresario estrategias en materia de tecnologías de información que permitan generar ventajas competitivas en sus organizaciones y mejoras de eficiencia en procesos administrativos y operativos, al margen de la actividad comercial que desempeñan. En este sentido, el lector encontrará diversos temas que pretenden ofrecer a los empresarios y responsables de las operaciones de las organizaciones opciones y recomendaciones para que los indicadores internos de la empresa puedan ser factor clave para su mejor desempeño y competitividad empresarial.
