Vom Standardkosten-Modell zum Dienstleistungszentrum für bessere Rechtsetzung

Abstract

Im Jahr 2006 wurde im Statistischen Bundesamt ein neuer Arbeitsbereich zur Unterstützung der Bundesregierung bei der Umsetzung ihres Programms "Bürokratieabbau und bessere Rechtsetzung" eingerichtet. Dessen zentrale Aufgabe war zunächst, die durch Bürokratie verursachten Kosten zu quantifizieren. Seitdem erfolgte eine konstante Weiterentwicklung von Aufgaben und Methodik, zusammen mit den jeweiligen Bundesregierungen und auf Basis der Interessen der Nutzerinnen und Nutzer. Der Arbeitsbereich bietet unter dem Namen "Dienstleistungszentrum der Bundesregierung für Bessere Rechtsetzung" inzwischen ein breites Portfolio an Dienstleistungen und Daten rund um das Thema bessere Rechtsetzung an. Damit verkörpert er den in der strategischen Ausrichtung des Statistischen Bundesamtes verankerten Anspruch, seine Position als führender Anbieter hochwertiger Daten in Deutschland zu stärken.
