Die Struktur der Arbeitskosten in der deutschen Wirtschaft

Abstract

Die Arbeitskosten je vollzeitbeschäftigten Arbeitnehmer im Produzierenden Gewerbe stiegen im Jahr 2013 in Westdeutschland um 1,8 Prozent und in Ostdeutschland um 0,9 Prozent. Damit war die Kostendynamik in beiden Regionen schwächer als in den Vorjahren. Mit Blick auf die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit relativiert sich dies jedoch dadurch, dass in den Jahren 2012 und 2013 die Produktivität im Produzierenden Gewerbe gesunken ist. Mit einem Kostenniveau von 40.890 Euro hat das ostdeutsche Produzierende Gewerbe weiterhin einen Kostenvorteil von rund einem Drittel gegenüber dem westdeutschen (62.290 Euro). Im Dienstleistungsbereich zeigt sich eine große Spanne zwischen den Sektoren Verkehr (43.920 Euro) und Handel (45.610 Euro) und den Finanzdienstleistern (79.510 Euro). Auch bei den Unternehmensdienstleistungen ergibt sich mit 62.130 Euro ein etwas höheres Kostenniveau als im deutschen Produzierenden Gewerbe.
