Abstract

Der Beitrag untersucht die Auswirkungen der Einführung befristeter Beschäftigungsverhältnisse auf die durchschnittliche Beschäftigungsdauer. Er kommt zu dem Schluss, dass die seit 1985 erweiterten gesetzlichen Möglichkeiten zum Abschluss von befristeten Verträgen nur wenig zu einer Erhöhung der Arbeitskräftemobilität beigetragen haben.
