Die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Effekte der Exporte seit 1995. Merkmale einer "Basar-Ökonomie" in Österreichs Außenwirtschaft

Abstract

Exporte haben für Österreich als kleine offene Volkswirtschaft große Bedeutung. Ihr Beitrag zum Wachstum des Bruttoinlandsproduktes erhöhte sich in den letzen Jahren: Waren 1995 noch 21,8% der gesamten Wertschöpfung auf Exportaktivitäten zurückgegangen, so betrug dieser Anteil 2004 bereits 32,4%. Zwar sinken die Wertschöpfungsmultiplikatoren der Exporte, d. h. ein Euro an Exporten generiert immer weniger Bruttowertschöpfung, das hohe Exportwachstum machte die Abnahme der Wertschöpfungsintensität aber mehr als wett. Gleichzeitig steigt der Anteil der Gewinneinkommen an der exportinduzierten Wertschöpfung zulasten der Lohn- und Gehaltseinkommen. Den Dienstleistungen kommt in der Exportwirtschaft immer größere Bedeutung zu: Der Anteil an Dienstleistungsexporten wächst, ebenso die durch Exporte angestoßene Wertschöpfung im Dienstleistungsbereich.
