Abstract

Nowadays, the expectations, placed on leaders for effective management of teams and organizations, are constantly increasing. Mastering numerous fields is becoming a norm to be a first class leader. On the other hand, many organizations are searching to deploy new tools or entire environment to facilitate employee motivation and/or help leaders to achieve their goals. More and more this new result accelerating arsenal is relying on gamification –a new theory, taking the game dynamics and mechanics and applying them to real world problems. The goals of such systems are close or complimentary to the goals of organizational leaders. With this article, we will try to emphasize those many parallels between motivational and leadership theories on one side, and design of gamified inter-company platform for better employee performance on the other.
