Abstract

Zusammenfassung Diese Arbeit greift die Abfallproblematik im Lebensmitteleinzelhandel auf. Als Methode wird die Warenumverteilung für schnell verderbliche Frischware vorgeschlagen. Eine umfassende und realitätsnahe Simulationsstudie zeigt, dass die Warenumverteilung eine geeignete Gestaltungsmaßnahme zur Abfallreduktion darstellt. In diesem Beitrag wird sichbar, dass die Abfallbekämpfung eine interdisziplinäre Forschung erfordert.
