Abstract

In this paper, single acceptance sampling inspection plan for generalized half-normal distribution when the lifetime experiment is truncated at a pre-fixed time is introduced. For the propose plan, ratio of true mean life time to specified mean life time for different choices of confidence level are provided. Minimum sample size which is necessary to ensure a certain specified lifetime are obtained. Operating characteristic values of the proposed plan are also presented. A real life example is considered to show the applicability of the proposed sampling plan.
