Abstract

This article evaluates the dynamics of meeting management from the perspective of the New Public Management. One of the basic principles of the New Public Management is innovativeness, a principle which refers to the process of constant progressive changes in public organizations. Organizational meetings are the most convenient realms in which the organizational problems and innovative solutions are discussed. The article analyses the problems and potentials of meeting management under the light of the principle of innovativeness in public administration. Then the article focuses on possible solutions for efficient use of the meeting techniques in the decision making processes in public organizations.
