Division cognitive du travail, segmentation et apprentissages. Le cas des jeunes diplômés

Abstract

The paper discusses the hypothesis of a process of segmentation of jobs, specific to the category of young graduates. The first part describes a panorama of the socioprofessional of this class of workforce, depending on training courses and the more or less redeployable knowledge held by them. The second part presents a more general and theoretical approach linked to the employment relation following this evolutions. The notion of “broader dualism” from M.J. Piore is mobilized and thorough for highlight central role of competencies and training in the process of professional integration of young graduates. It appears from this study that segmentation of young graduates refers more to an occupational instability and a deepening of the cognitive division of labor than a simple extension of secondary markets and precarious which previously affect a class of young labor force.
