El balance de nutrientes en la Provincia de La Pampa y sus implicancias económicas

    La provincia de La Pampa registra una intensificación de la agricultura con una apreciación del deterioro ambiental que merece ser analizada y evaluada económicamente. La falta de información económico-ambiental no permite dimensionar y posicionar esta problemática en su real magnitud. Se estimó el balance de nutrientes y su cuantificación económica, para trigo, maíz, girasol y soja. La extracción alcanzó valores de 21 millones de dólares, el 15% del valor de la producción. Los departamentos Chapaleufú, Maracó y Atreucó, concentraron el 46% del total del costo de reposición. La soja representó el 50% del costo de reposición total, el girasol 22%, el trigo 16% y el maíz 12%. Se presentó una gestión ambiental negativa con marcadas diferencias entre departamentos y cultivos considerados.
