La duración de las bajas por accidente laboral en España: ¿Se justifican las diferencias por comunidades autónomas?

Abstract

La mera observación de los datos revela diferencias considerables en la duración de las bajas producidas por accidentes de trabajo entre las distintas Comunidades Autónomas españolas. Parte de esas diferencias pueden deberse a factores objetivos, no obstante, existe otra parte no justificada que podría asociarse a la existencia de riesgo moral. La aportación del artículo reside en la comparación por Comunidades Autónomas de esas diferencias no justificadas. Para ello se aplica una generalización de la descomposición de Oaxaca-Blinder a modelos de duración. Los resultados muestran duraciones injustificadamente más largas en las Comunidades del norte de España.
