Abstract

[eng] The Diversity of Priority Neighbourhoods: A Challenge for Municipal Policy . The notion of "quartiers en convention", whereby agreements are signed between central and local authorities to help improve and develop underprivileged neighbourhoods, has formed the subject of special municipal policy measures and thus covers a wide range of local situations. The diversity of problems covered by this policy makes it impossible to use a single scale of intensity for classification. The municipal policy is therefore faced with simultaneously managing a large number of different configurations.
