Abstract

[eng] This article contrasts Weber's recommendations for freeing social sciences from value jugdments with MyrdaFs approach about the role of value judgments in economics. It attemps to show why to seperate factual from value statements is impossible, and what the limits of Myrdal's approach are. [fre] Cet article examine, d'une part, les prescriptions de M. Weber en faveur d'une science sociale libérée des valeurs et leur extension par M. Blaug à l'analyse économique, et d'autre part, la thèse de G. Myrdal sur le primat des jugements de valeur. Il tente de mettre en évidence l'impossible coupure entre énoncés de fait et énoncés de valeur, et les limites de la conception de l'analyse économique comme discipline à vocation evaluative.
