The Need for Rational Use of Resources, the Premises for an Efficient Agriculture in Romania

Abstract

As a result of the development of cutting-edge technologies, the intensification of scientific research, the unprecedented influence of the mass media on the decision- making behavior of the consumer, the ratio between resources and needs, between availabilities and needs, ends up encountering multiple difficulties, and these make the production of economic goods to be taken by storm to be able to meet the ever-increasing demands and needs. These ever- increasing requirements lead to direct effects on the way of using economic resources, own and acquired, but also mean that there are various implications of the productive sector in order to change the size of the supply to the level of the size of the demand. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the situation of agriculture in Romania and to find solutions for the efficient use of resources, the premise of a sustainable agriculture.
