Iparpolitika és akkumulátorgyártás Magyarországon és Svédországban
[Industrial Policy and EV Battery Manufacturing in Hungary and Sweden]

Abstract

A tanulmány azt a kérdést vizsgálja, hogy az akkumulátorgyártás magyar gazdaságban betöltött szerepének jelentős kormányzati támogatással történő növekedése mennyire szolgálja Magyarország hosszú távú gazdasági felzárkózását. E kérdés megválaszolásához a magyar akkumulátoriparra vonatkozó stratégiát elhelyezi az iparpolitikáról szóló gondolkodás történeti kontextusában, majd összeveti a svéd akkumulátorstratégiával. Megállapítja, hogy a magyar stratégia leginkább a klasszikus szocialista rendszer gyakorlatához áll közel, míg a svéd példa a 21. század iparpolitikai elképzeléseit tükrözi. A két eset közös tanulsága: nincs átváltás a gazdasági fejlődés és a környezet védelme között. Míg komparatív előnyei miatt Svédországban a két cél egymást erősíti, a komparatív hátrányokat felerősítő magyar akkumulátorgyártás mind a gazdasági felzárkózás, mind a környezet szempontjából károsnak tekinthető.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: L52, L62, O14, O25.
