A monetáris politika hatása a jövedelmi egyenlőtlenségekre
[Monetary-policy effects on income inequalities]

Abstract

Az egyenlőtlenségek problémaköre az utóbbi évtizedekben egyre hangsúlyosabbá vált. Bár az elosztási hatásokat, így az egyenlőtlenségeket elsősorban a globalizációs és költségvetés-politikai folyamatokkal szokás összekapcsolni, az utóbbi évtized kiemelten laza monetáris politikájának számos mellékhatása is érinti a kérdéskört. A tanulmány - a monetáris politika és az egyenlőtlenségek területét összekapcsoló mechanizmusok és csatornák azonosítását követően - empirikusan, paneladatbázison végzett elemzések (GMM modell) segítségével azt próbálja feltárni, hogy az egyes monetáris politikai változók milyen irányú és mértékű hatást fejtenek ki a Gini-mutatóval mért egyenlőtlenségre. Az eredmények alapján - a kismértékű hatások ellenére - igazolja, hogy az alacsony, stabil inflációt célzó monetáris politika, illetve az egy főre jutó GDP növekedése az egyenlőtlenségek csökkenése irányába hat. A munkanélküliségi ráta emelkedése az egyenlőtlenségek mélyülését idézi elő.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: E52, D63, C23.
