Diritto allo studio e spazio pubblico: un nuovo framework per l?innovazione sociale

Abstract

Con l?obiettivo di approfondire il concetto di benessere sociale tramite un?analisi del rapporto tra sistema urbano e sistema universitario, l?articolo presenta l?approccio e i primi risultati di una ricerca coordinata da Urban@it (Centro Nazionale di Studi sulle Politiche Urbane) sul tema del diritto allo studio. Tramite lo sviluppo di un approccio focalizzato sulla volont? di intendere il diritto allo studio come un diritto sociale compiutamente inteso, si tratta di una ricerca commissionata dall?Adisu Puglia (Agenzia per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario) che coinvolge l?intera Regione Puglia allo scopo di individuare condizioni/processi che evitano di considerare le popolazioni studentesche come categorie "peculiari" di cittadini, ossia con bi-sogni e diritti descritti e circoscritti quasi esclusivamente da una condizione di vita transitoria e tutto sommato precaria. In particolare, il lavoro svolto dal Gruppo di Ricerca dell?Universit? di Foggia sul tema dell?innovazione dell?offerta di servizi per il diritto allo studio applica una metodologia quanti-qualitativa esito della combinazione tra survey (realizzata a livello regiona-le sull?intera popolazione di studenti universitari) e Grounded Theory (su un campione di studenti selezionati tra gli iscritti alle diverse associazioni studentesche). I risultati presentati in questo articolo si concentrano sull?individuazione di "nuovi concetti", utili sia per descrive-re/caratterizzare i contesti delle citt? universitarie che per definire un comune scenario deno-minato "Puglia citt? universitaria".
