Abstract

The structure of the Canadian input-output tables is examined from the perspective of the energy analyst. The formulation of the energy model and the calculation of primary energy requirements are discussed. Finally, primary energy inputs and energy intensities for the approx. 600 commodities identified in the Canadian input-output tables are presented.
