Sectors in Focus: Food Retailing

Author

Abstract

The Ifo Business Climate Germany fell to an all-time low in April. All sectors are reporting a drop in sales, some of them sharp; only food retailers can currently report an extraordinarily favorable sales situation. However, the mood is now clouding over here as well. In the longer term, online food sales should benefit.
