Herausforderungen und Lösungsansätze für die berufsschulische Ausbildung im Kammerbezirk Dresden

Abstract

Der demographische Wandel und der damit verbundene drastische Rückgang der Schülerzahlen in Sachsen haben dazu geführt, dass – trotz Standortschließungen – viele Berufsschulen momentan Überkapazitäten aufweisen. Verstärkt wird dieses Problem noch durch die zunehmende Abwendung junger Menschen vom klassischen System der dualen Berufsausbildung, beispielsweise zugunsten tertiärer Ausbildungswege. Schreitet die Ausdünnung des Berufsschulnetzes weiter voran und geht dadurch die Nähe zwischen Ausbildungsbetrieben und Berufsschulen verloren, so könnte das für die deutsche Wirtschaft so prägende duale System im Kammerbezirk Dresden in Gefahr geraten. Basierend auf Befragungen der ausbildenden Unternehmen, der Berufsschulen und der beteiligten Schulträger formuliert dieser Artikel Handlungsempfehlungen für die zukünftige Ausgestaltung des Berufsschulsystems. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die räumliche Verteilung der Einrichtungen nur eine untergeordnete Rolle spielt. Die Sicherung der Ausbildungsqualität und die Errichtung einer langfristig stabilen Organisation der Berufsschulausbildung stehen für die Beteiligten im Vordergrund.
